Storehouse 408
Kirsten and Cameron

If you're looking for the perfect wedding venue, Storehouse 408 may just be what you need. This venue is located in Cambridge and offers both indoor and outdoor locations to cover all your wedding needs.

What's more, they only host one wedding per day, which means you and your loved ones can have the entire venue to yourselves.

Kirsten and Cameron tied the knot at Storehouse 408 and had such a wonderful experience. They also shared some tips for newly engaged couples.

- Why did you choose Storehouse 408 as your venue, and how did you like it? Would you recommend it?

I came across Storehouse 408 in a panicked scramble actually. I had been looking into several venues at the time, and we had a very promising first meeting with a different venue and they cancelled on us right before our first meeting with Cristina.

Cristina of course was so understanding and said she was on board with us even though we barely had any information for her. It was 8 months until our wedding date and knowing that 2022 was going to be an epic year of weddings I was panicking. So I searched for local wedding venues again thinking there would be nothing else out there and stumbled upon the most perfect wedding venue I could imagine.

I fell in love with Storehouse 408 immediately because of its simple and elegant design. It was bright, neutral, and spacious like it was perfect for anyone who wanted to host an event there and make it their exact vision. Everything from there was luck, I contacted their team and we were immediately able to go for a tour and we were even lucky enough to get the exact date we wanted.

Every step of the process was seamless and amazing, everyone on their team was so kind and patient answering all of my questions and making sure we felt happy.

I would recommend this venue to everyone I know!

- What was your favourite part of your wedding day?

Storehouse wedding

My favourite part of the day was when I got to experience the celebration of everything we’d accomplished. From getting to marry the love of my life after 9 years together, sharing it with our close friends and family, and seeing the visible results of all of the hard work of planning.

At first I felt a little self-conscious with the performative aspect of being the center of attention but when we got to just celebrate after the ceremony it was such a happy time. When my husband and I got back from our amazing photo session, we returned to a joyous room of our loved ones and I just remember feeling so at ease and soaking it all in.

- Do you have any advice for future couples who are planning their wedding?

Some advice I would give to couples planning their wedding is that while little details do matter to the big picture of how your big day will go, there are some things you just have to let go of. Seeking perfection in every aspect of planning can put a strain on how fun it can actually be to plan a wedding. Your “perfect” day is perfect in its own special way.

Also, when seeking out your vendors like venue, food, photographer, etc. make sure you find that human connection with them that makes you feel comfortable. Seeking out kind, fun, and considerate people to work with for your wedding day really makes a difference. On a day where you can be thrown wildcard situations or just feel the general anxiety of doing something as important as getting married, those pillar support systems will help you so much.

Most importantly, remember how much you love your partner and that this is a day to celebrate you, not anyone else!
