Top 10 Outdoor Wedding Venues in Ontario
I came up with this top 10 outdoor wedding venues in Ontario from my years of experience photographing weddings. All of them have a space to celebrate your ceremony outdoors close in contact with nature.
If you’re here, it’s probably because you just got engaged and are hunting for the perfect wedding venue. First of all, big congratulations on your engagement! Now it’s time to plan your wedding, and if you’re starting to feel overwhelmed by the process, take a deep breath. I know it takes time. As you begin your research, you’ll find there are tons of resources out there. Here, you can find a list of my favourite outdoor wedding venues across Ontario. These venues are perfect for couples with a more relaxed approach, whose wedding vision is the opposite of a traditional banquet hall.
01. ERIN ESTATE
Erin Estate is located in Erin, Ontario. You will fall in love with this venue if you envision your wedding surrounded by tall trees. Besides its magical aesthetic, this is a family-run business by Jesse & Jaime. This means that they would get more involved on a deeper personal level with you, your wedding, and your loved ones. They also value never hosting more than 1 wedding at a time. The area is 13 acres and they have a large marquee tent for the reception of up to 160 guests.
02. WHISPERING SPRINGS WILDERNESS RETREAT
Whispering Springs is located in Grafton, Ontario, just 90 minutes from Toronto. Despite its proximity to the city, it feels much more remote, thanks to its natural setting. The Forest Chapel they provide is simply stunning. They also offer a lodge-inspired Reception Pavilion, The Watering Hole Guest Lounge & Bar, and glamping accommodations in their romantic and luxurious log-framed safari tents and charming bell tents.
If your idea of a wedding is a laid-back place surrounded by beauty, complete with its forest and spring-fed ponds, this might be ideal for you. Its unique aesthetics mean you likely won’t need much additional decor.
