Niagara Falls proposal

Niagara Falls is a destination and a special place for a lot of couples. That’s why it can be a perfect destination for a proposal. This time I had the opportunity to document a double one. Yes, I know, it was exciting.

Elizabeth and Shail have been together for a long time and at that moment of the proposal, they were having a long-distance relationship. Elizabeth was living in Arizona and Shail was living in Toronto. They arranged a formal wedding ceremony in January in their original country, India. They were planning their wedding but neither of them proposed to each other. That’s why Elizabeth decided to propose to Shail before January and contacted me to document it.

For them, Niagara Falls is a very special place. That weekend Elizabeth flew to Toronto and they decided to spend it in Niagara. Elizabeth and I have never met in person, but we did a video call prior to ensure we’ll know each other.

They were walking towards the falls, and when we recognized each other, Elizabeth stopped and she went down on her knees. She hand-made a super beautiful box full of photos. Each box contains a smaller box and the last one holds the ring for Shail. It was a fake ring with a puke face. LOL. Our surprise happens right after this, Shail took out a real ring for Elizabeth.

It was a big surprise but so beautiful proposal. I’m happy I was part of it.
