Allison and Brad had a special wedding at Brantview apples and cider farm. I’d say that it’s the perfect venue for those who like a rustic and outdoor space. And it’s a big plus if you like cider, as they do their own.
Brantview apples and cider is a farm located in St. George, Ontario. It’s halfway between Cambridge and Brantford. They offer a huge beautiful barn for your reception and an outdoor garden for your ceremony. We were also able to get golf carts and go around the farm for the portrait session.
About the couple, Allison and Brad were the sweetest with each other. I can tell how much they love each other. It was an intimate ceremony full of emotional and fun-loving moments. They put some time to answer a few questions about their wedding and how they liked Brantview apples and cider farm as a venue.
- Why did you choose Brantview Apples And Cider wedding for your venue and how did you like it? Would you recommend it?
When picking a venue, we really wanted something outdoors, rustic and relaxed. Our vision for our wedding was an event where all of the most important people in our lives could gather and feel like one family. Having our wedding at Brantview Apples and Cider did exactly that. We loved the outdoor ceremony space facing the orchard and the pavilion event space was like being outside but with all the security of offering a rain plan. The pavilion space was rustic and didn't need much to elevate it to our vision and there were ample places to take photos on the property that just made this venue a true (gorgeous) one-stop-shop.
We also loved working with the Howells (owners of the space). They are a family-run business - apple orchard, cidery and event space. We felt like they understood our vision and overall feeling we wanted our special day to have. They were friendly, accommodating and just overall great people. We would absolutely recommend Brantview Apples and Cider for any couples looking for a beautiful, outdoor venue.
- What was your favourite part of the day?
Besides the obvious of marrying my best friend, I would have to say the reception! I loved that we all were able to get together and enjoy each other's company. It felt like there was so much love in the room, and there is no better feeling than having all of the most important people in your life cheering you and your partner on as you begin a new chapter.
- Do you have any advice for future couples in planning their wedding?
Don't be afraid to ask for help. Planning a wedding certainly has its fair share of highs and lows, smiles and stresses; but you don't have to do everything yourself! You'd be surprised about how many people are able to assist in a variety of ways. Even the smallest things can make the biggest difference when planning. It could be as simple as researching a vendor or organizing a seating chart! Lean on your loved ones and vendors for their help - they want your day to be as perfect as you do!!
